My Goals
EDUCATION
- increase funding for public education
- build a plan to pay for increased funding
- support Alaska's university system
ECONOMY
- commit to the people of Southeast by investing in our fishing, tourism and
timber manufacturing industries in ways that fit the communities of
Southeast
- build an electrical power distribution network
- support fishermen's efforts to gain a fair share of economic return
- invest in infrastructure to draw new industries to Southeast that will fit
each community's development needs
- get a fiber optic link throughout Southeast Alaska
GOVERNMENT
- Vote on subsistence
- Build a responsible fiscal plan
- Maintain the Alaska Marine Highway. It's our road.
- Keep the Permanent Fund. No buyouts.
I support building the strength, diversity and opportunity within our
communities to provide a rich envrionment for personal and economic growth.
Communities in Southeast deserve a state senator who will fight for our fair
share in Juneau. I will serve the interests of Southeast -- that's a
promise.
